The Witcher 3 has sold more than 20 million copies until now

Ahead of this Witcher 3 making its way into the Nintendo Switch after this season, CD Projekt Red shows its Witcher collection of games has sold over 40 million copies total. The dev additionally credits The Witcher 3 as donating half of the total — we could roughly say that the dream RPG has sold over 20 million copies.

In CD Projekt Red’s closing report for 2018, the developer reports that 44.5percent of The Witcher 3 earnings for this year came through PC. This was trailed by PlayStation 4 in 39.5percent and Xbox One at 15.5%. For instance, back in 2015 earnings were mostly on PlayStation 4 in 48 percent — PC, on the other hand, was 31 percent.

While The Witcher 3 remains very popular as ever — with tie-ins along with different games such as Dragon Hunter — we are not likely to find another installment in the show for a little while yet. CD Projekt Red really has not abandoned the concept of coming into The Continent, however as we glimpsed from E3 — and for a little while ahead, to be frank — that the focus is completely elsewhere before this Cyberpunk 2077 launch date.

It is not all bad, however, since Cyberpunk 2077 is shaping up well and its gameplay is still looking incredibly elastic. Much like before Fallout games, CD Projekt Red claims there are numerous techniques to earn your way through a mission and you may read the ending credits without even harming one soul — Cyberpunk Undertale? Alright, perhaps not, but you catch my drift.

That entrance from CD Projekt Red drops based on a comment senior exploration programmer Philipp Weber made from Reddit a couple of months ago in which he stated there was “three to five distinct manners ” to finish a quest.

E3 2019 is still rumbling on, as is your Keanu hype train, so we’re covering it night and day. We are both on the floor in Los Angeles and covering conventions from our UK office, so stick around for the most recent information on Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3.

The original version of Warzone returns, after the Warzone 2 launch

Are you a fan of Warzone? Well, there is some mixed news for you. The original Warzone has been relaunched by Activision as promised. It had been rolled back before the mega launch of Warzone 2 in order to migrate players to the newer version.

However, due to the massive fanbase, the company could not hold the original version back for long. It is now available for those of you who wish to play the original Call of Duty game again, though you should temper your expectations. You can expect a relatively stripped-down version only from this relaunch. The relaunched Warzone version is significantly different from the OG Warzone. Multiple features have been tampered with and the ones that have been eliminated are gone forever, including the maps.

If you’re wondering about the name, it has now been named Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera. Some finds might be shocked to know that the Fortune’s Keep and Rebirth Island maps are both missing on this version. They might never again see the light of day. Henceforth, Calendar will be the only map available for players to play. Even the modes of playing have changed, now you get the solo and quad, but no rotation of limited-time modes.

If you thought you will enhance your experience by buying some o the features, some more sad news is in store for you. The game has no in-app store which rules out the possibility of buying anything. As a saving grace, a new provision has been made whereby the COD Points are transferable through both versions of the game.

The reason behind shutting down Warzone in the first place was to make players shift to Warzone 2. However, with this launch, it will be interesting to see if loyal players go back to OG games and remain on the latest version. The company is trying very hard to keep people on the new version by having cut down a host of features from the original. And it seems to have achieved some success from it as well since 25 million players took to Warzone 2 within the first five days of its launch.

Only gaming enthusiasts can now decide about the future of Warzone: Calendar and Warzone 2. You get no points for guessing which one will the company keep trying to push.
